I typically drink shitty beer at concerts anyway to ensure I don't get too rocked. But yeah, it's basically the same venue IMO.

How he’s stretched his 15 minutes into 15 years is beyond me.

The RnR crowd was in kindergarten when he kicked off his Stroke jock-sniffing, ironic lounge schtick.

Eric B. and Rakim @ The Fillmore on 4/17

grr…I've been listening to them a lot lately and they are soo good.  damn I hate that venue tho
also April is a full month of concerts

I'm curious, how is it really much different than the 930 club minus the god awful acts they book on a regular basis?

honestly it's mostly the hassle getting to SS
the bad beer selection/prices and poor sight lines don't help
also depending where you are on the floor, sometimes the sound is horrible
Only place that was worse was the Echostage

I will say the staff at the doors, bars and inside the club do kinda suck
they are rarely as helpful, friendly or show any customer service

I think the IMP staph actually make a big difference

I was at 930 last night and the floor has to be about half the size of the Fillmore!!! Yada you might want to check the prescription on your eyeglasses

even taking into consideration that the 930's stage moves?  perchance was it pulled all the way forward, thus making it smaller?
