Just Announced

Belle and Sebastian - Hurray!

10-14 Washington, DC - DAR Constitution Hall
Beth Orton
Rams Head Tavern (Annapolis)
8/18/10

If anyone is interested, there weren't many seats left when I got tix earlier today, so I would act quickly.
My 2nd time this year at DC9 with some peers of mine. Performing with Kokayi (grammy nominated hip hop artist) will be a blessing.

But what about those who like Arcade Fire and think Spoon is the most boring MOR band on Earth?

Teenage Fanclub is opening the B&S Brooklyn show, wonder if they will be opening the whole tour, or perhaps do a separate headlining show?
I don't really foresee Seth booking a separate free Arcade Fire Club show.

Wow, B&S were exciting on their own, throw in Teenage Fanclub and we've got awesome awesome times…
As someone who thinks Belle and Sebastian sucks live, I vote for a separate Teenage Fanclub Club show.

That said, the new Teenage Fanclub album is very, very boring.

though i like the flyer . . . like i enjoy most of the flyers/posts you put out on this forum . . . i find it odd that the backdrop for thus flyer is advertisments for winery tours in california.  is that to perhaps "educate consumers"?

>>As someone who thinks Belle and Sebastian sucks live

huh ? have you seen them in the last 10 years or are you still forming an opinion from their early days ?

Nokia Theater NYC, 2006 was my one time seeing them.

I really hated The Life Pursuit (and liked/loved their other albums), so certainly song selection had something to do with my hating them live.
