Exactly, CBS gets it!

This doesn't seem sustainable, tho. There's more money to be made at an arena, so either Seth or the artist or both are taking a loss.

How many true "arena" shows has The Anthem had thus far?? Maybe one or two? Seems great vs. seeing say the Arcade Fire at a 50% sold Verizon Center, no?? Or $eth can simply increase the cost of said tickets since you're getting the premium of seeing XXX band in a small place vs. a giant arena. For example, I'd pay $150 to see one of my favorite bands in The Anthem vs. paying $75 to sit in section 407, Row P.

A night at The Anthem and a night at whatever the arena is called now, or MPP.

So Columbus gets a date but not DC.  Maybe Thom’s a Buckeye fan?

Radiohead at Verizon was meh.  Anthem would be fucking legendary.

Seems great, yeah, but Radiohead is nearly a guaranteed sell-out at Verizon, not a 50% sell. There's also a lot of America absent on those tour dates, which likely means they'll be back around later this year. If it's in the summer, maybe we'll get MPP instead.

I'd love nothing more than to see them at a smaller venue. It won't happen though.

yes, but the IMP folks are trying to persuade artists play arena dates at the Anthem. Sometimes they agree, sometimes they don't.  Lorde will be at the Anthem in the middle of an arena tour.  Sam Smith wouldn't deviate from the arenas and will play capOne.

Radiohead is a Live Nation act
Hence the Lube and Verizon history….
Although there was merriweather and the surprise gig at the 930 after the tibet freedom fest at rfk

Nice, and on a Friday night, too. Worth the trip into no-man's land.
