Public Reading of Student Composer Works

By presenting a public reading of select works by student composers, the Kronos Quartet continues their residency in the School of Music and their joint commitment with the Clarice Smith Center to nurturing fresh new compositional voices in the world of music.

Student composers have worked intimately with the Quartet over the past year to hone their skills and understanding of the relationship between composer and performer.

This public reading, the culmination of their collaboration, invites the audience into the creative process through repeated hearings of each piece.

The last blast did include the announcement. Only one on sale according to the blast.

Thanks. I did mean the snail mailer but I don't think the show had been announced yet. There was a fan club one today and sold out in 2 min and the package deal 7 min. Hope it's not indicative of Saturday's sale…

i fear that it is.  the DCFC show will sell out very quickly, if not immediately.

Of course it will.

Isn't it arguable that Death Cab and the Decemberists are on the same success level?

And look where the latter is playing.

If Wilco sells out two shows at the club immediately, DCFC definitely sells out one show immediately.

Chicago DCFC show is will-call only, non-transferable, must enter venue after picking up tickets…

Can any Staph tell us if the 930 DCFC show will be handled this way.  ^
Might I suggest heading to the TF page for Death Cab and taking an "educated guess" at what the promotional code might be.  It's not very difficult, and I just secured tickets prior to surely being shut out tomorrow.

It appears your scalping abilities will be challenged.
