That and Dropdead.  And the early COC line-up.

Still kick myself for not paying the $40 just to see skitsystem a few years ago.

Hmm…

An old, bat-shit crazy, unpredictable Liz Phair V. a probably equally old and bat-shit crazy yet (intentionally) hilarious Gene Ween

Think Gene wins.

front row VIP ticket: $1,525 + fees.  regular tickets $19.50 to $149.50… that's nice.

Wow, is that a bar behind the front section? That would be really convenient.
why yes it is, and in fact people sitting in the front pit will be expected to serve folks in the back half of the floor.  why anyone would spend $975 to $1525 for the priviledge is beyond me.  the tips can't be that good.

what? i don't see any bar..

this is the same setup they had earlier this year at verizon… basically at one point jon comes out and walks on that semicircle and sings a song (in my case the worse longest cover of hallellujah imaginable)..
then the other band members come out and stand on that semicircle and do some ridiculous folkie song (tico plays the accordion!!!!!!! :))

then at the end jon will go into that area of the pricey seats and take pictures with the people who forked over the cash (all the while singing)..

its a pretty ingenous way of maximizing cash

i have to say most of the indie artists worshipped on this board would do the same thing if they could get anyone to pay that kind of money.. in the modern world its all about the benjamins.. if you got them you're good and if you don't fuck you.
It's pretty amusing to go to the ticketmaster website and read all the details of these Bon Jovi VIP packages.  One of them comes complete with a VIP entrance and papparazi, or however you spell that.

Yes, because nothing matters more in life than bigger houses, fancier jets, a few extra zeros left of the decimal and exploiting the mouth-breathing retards that are mainstream rock fans who would pay that much to see a shit band like Bon Jovi out of as absurdly much money as possible.

Rot in hell, Jon Bon Jovi, for the cancer you have unleashed on our fine nation.
