The Faint is that night. Maybe this will be an early early early show or a late late late show. Or maybe the date is just wrong….or this is fake…Wainwright is in Albany, NY that night and this isn't on either of their schedules…

How did they go from being an opener at RnR Hotel to headlining 9:30 in just a few months?
on the upside, there is zero chance this show will sell out unless the opener is bigger than APTBS or something really big happens to them in the next 2.5 months.

= buying tickets at the door with zero fees, and luxury of being able to make a game-time decision. sweet.

musing: are we 100% sure APTBS is headlining? maybe they're opening for someone else?
They're playing with Sian Alice Group (a virtually unknown experimental/post-rock band from the UK). So yeah it's safe to say they're headlining.
That's a pretty interesting bill. Can't believe it's at the club, though.

Maybe it was booked for the boardies.

MGMT = sold out.

Does this boggle anyone else's mind?
no more than why they are 'mgmt' instead of 'the management.' is 'mgmt' because most kids don't like to say whole words anymore, or were they going to get sued?

Cool.

No, I got them booked for Snail at the Warehouse about 3 or 4 years ago. Their first DC show.

We were trying to get them added onto the Virgin Festival. It's on that thread somewhere. Last I saw of the band's schedule, it looks like that weekend is still open… but barely.
I thought you mentioned it in the snailhook… thread but could be wrong.

Edit: a quick skim of that thread shows that yes…I was wrong.
not going to Lorelei/Mahogany ?

Nope.

Lazy this week.

I don't remember my last one-show week.

Same. Thurston seems like he'd be a cool guy to listen to, no matter what he's discussing
