Just Announced

That is a very good setlist. If it included 'Your Covers Blown', it would be close to perfect.
I think 'Dont Leave the Light On' is a great song.

I too was hoping for some Cover's Blown going in, but really it would be absurd to want anything more than what I got. Also, I recall Funny Little Frog was always weak live in 06, but the new(?) version where the strings are the main focus and Stuart isn't keyboard-bound was amazing.

Good to see all this Belle and Sebastian enthusiasm 'round these parts!

Rock & Roll Hotel

This is going to be an awesome show! Really hoping I can make it down for this.

Please refrain from extended commentary in the Just Announced thread.  It is intended for the posting of new shows and when there are several pages of discussion on a particular show, announcements get lost in the clutter.

It's been requested numerous times to either start another thread to discuss a show, or find one and use one of the existing Just Announced commentary thread.

Twice recently extended discussion regarding a show has taken place.
Weird. I swear I saw that Bullet for my Valentine show listed as taking place on 9/25.

Regardless, as I stated on a previous page, it's the wrong "Valentine" band anyway.

Sweet!! I was upset that i had to miss Ducktails Whartscape set.
Holy shit, where is that deerhunter w/ casino vs. japan?
Show announcements without a venue name in this thread are typically 930.
Or at least I think that's what the rule of thumb is.
I figured that too, but wasn't sure. can someone show me a link to prove that? I looked at the pages of both Deerhunter and CvJ but couldn't find anything.
Kind of surprised that there appears to be more excitement here over Deerhunter than Grinderman.

You can really never tell with this board.
It's not Deerhunter I'm really excited over - its Casino v. Japan that I find really intriguing.
I couldn't give less than a shit about Deerhunter unless you're talking about the movie.  Grinderman??  FUCK A!

Very 1986 of me but I'd trek to Iota for that.  Is that venue any good for bands?  I've only seen solo performances there.
