Their opening set for the national was fun.
***Totally inaccurate due to early morning misreading of the article, sorry folks***

Not terribly official yet, but….

LED ZEPPELIN
NOV. 17 – Cincinnati

source– http://www.nme.com/news/led-zeppelin/32664
The source: At a Cult show in Cincinnati on November 17th 2007, Ian Astbury makes a generic, off-hand remark that they'll be "back next year" (not specifically mentioning Cincinnati, or any exact date), and "opening for a band" whose "name starts with L and has a Z in it."

Therefore, we MUST assume that the show will be exactly one year from that statement and in the same, medium market city? Right?
Whoops! Completely misread the article. Thanks for calling me out, I think I see Led Zep US tour news and my brain goes all fuzzy, even though I know this'll be nowhere near Led Zep in say…'75.
heheh no problem
And the winner for first show on my 2008 concert calendar…this excellent double bill:

Wed Feb 27- DEAN AND BRITTA, KEREN ANN $15 Mainstage 8:00 (on sale 11/30)
Thu Feb 7- THE LOVED ONES, GASLIGHT ANTHEM, THE ERGS $10 Backstage 9:00 (on sale 11/30)

I know there are some Lucero and Against Me! fans on here…The Gaslight Anthem is like the perfect hybrid of the two. Definitely my favorite new band of this year.

Wow, DAR??
Was just going to post about this show.

I don't think there could be a worse venue in DC for WEEN to play in. Never thought I'd skip a WEEN show but I won't be attending this. Ugh.
I'm definitely questioning my going to this too.
SUPERFAN ALERT:

I don't really think DAR is that bad of a place for the band to play, provided you get good tickets. I'm going to see what comes up during the pre-sale and decided then. If I can score some great seats, I'd be all over it.

Out of curiosity, where are you seeing this listed?

Whether IMP or Live Nation are putting on this show will also play a role in my going or not.
MySpace bulletin post from this morning.

Good call on the Live Nation booking, though. Tix are on-sale through Music Today. That might change my decision…

Why? They're both out to get your money.
