I know there’s another board for this, but I’m looking for 2 or 3 for They Might Be Giants if anyone has extras

Would be Johnny Jr’s first trip to the Club

How old is Johnny Jr? I think there was an age minimum for that show (?)
all ages for all shows at the club it's at the  Lincoln Theatre…but I think that's all ages too
and TMBG…they do kids albums

Edit - Ack didn't realize they were doing three shows…9:30 one say 16+ (which surprises me)  but what kind of id do you have at 16

The only time I've ever seen TMBG was at the Science and Engineering Festival at the DC Conference Center a few years ago. It was all ages and they played a mix of their kids music and adult music.

However, i've noticed that they often specific "This is an adult show" vs. "This is a kid's show" and specficially have the adult shows be 16+  or 18+ or whatever.

The setlists of the adult shows don't appear to have any of the kid's songs n them.

Though to be honest, the adult songs are kind of kidlike in nature…and I actually liked the kids albums better than most of their adult albums.

Johnny Jr is a lad of six - who while being quite mature for his age - is still six

He’s done lawn at MPP and dug it when he knew the songs - and he loves TMBG

I thought it was an early, kid-tolerating show, but if not, I’ll probably pump the brakes on this one

Not sure if it was just announced

Philippe Chow, fancy Chinese food, Wharf DC. Rocktober.

Plus:

Meanwhile, the first phase of the Wharf will soon welcome Boardwalk Bar & Arcade — a 10,000-square-foot destination for whimsical cocktails and pinball that’s nearly twice as big as the original in Penn Quarter.

Other newly announced tenants for Phase 2 each have an existing presence in D.C. Look for fast-casual options for burgers (Lucky Buns); buttery Maine lobster rolls (Mason’s Famous); nostalgic sweets (Kilwins Chocolates & Ice Cream); Manhattans with a hair cut (Scissors & Scotch); and Latin street foods (Bartaco).

I saw the documentary about David Bazan. He's kind of irritating. Like me, sometimes.
