props for effort martinrob, but this board is full of insanely on top of things indie/music heads that know these things almost before the bands themselves do, smashing pumpkins at V fest was announced about two pages back in this thread.

They haven't said specifically that Iha isn't in, but no one serously thinks he is. No one knows the hired guns but this obnoxious bitch named Linda Strawberry who was part of Billy's solo tour band has hinted on her myspace that she's in.

Got my tickets for this show in the mail today. I pre-ordered the 'early' sow tickets. These are indeed the VIP experience ones. So if you ordered the 'early' show you got VIP…

I don't THINK so. I think when I first checked it, it was listed just like two seperate shows with two different start times. That's when I checked the Philly date and saw the VIP thing for the earlier time. But you may have checked it earlier than I did.

i kind of figured that the whole deal with billy corgan basically coming out and blaming james iha for the band breaking up in 2000 was a good clue that james probably wouldnt' be involved in a reunion.

i just called wolftrap, and they informed me that the majority of their ticket go on sale this saturday at 10 AM. expect the inevitable and interminable vitual waiting rooms…
