The Mainstage (lower level) has a capacity of 400 and flies in the face of run-of-the-mill venues that seem to populate the area. The Upper Level consists of an acoustically tuned 2500 square foot main space suited for DJs and private parties and includes a full kitchen and three rooms: The Blue Room, the Orange Room (a recreational lounge), and the Green Room (sleeping quarters for SI Guests). I just got a note from the Carlsonics that says they're not playing this show, even though it's still listed on their website.

For this show, the band has requested an $8 donation. It is first come, first serve.

heard good things, but not the disc yet.

i wouldn't imagine a show at common grounds would be too pricy? what's it like there? is there alcohol? being 4 miles away and on a friday make it sound like a great idea…
