Definitely the worst reunion tour of 2005 :)
Maybe you guys got a great show at the 930?
I didn't. I was so underwhelmed. I do like the new album, though. And I think Gandalf (err, J. Mascis is one of the best guitar players ever :)

They ARE boring live. Fact. And you know what else, they are? Shhhhh! Really overrated!

Most of you are like five year-olds on Christmas Eve just ready to cream your pants when some "legendary" alt band comes around. If you get excited by Dinosaur, Jr. you'd probably get REALLY excited if Billy Corgan got a bunch of hired guns together and called them the legendary "SMASHING PUMPKINS!"

Losers.

This is 2007. Not 1989.

Brian

P.S. Here's another one for you:

Old farts to reunite

The Black Cat is the new 9:30
Rock'n Roll Hotel is the new Black Cat
The Red & Black is the new Metro Cafe
and the velvet lounge is the new warehouse. right?

i can't believe that anyone would say that dinosaur jr is boring live, unless they are afraid of being attacked by a wall of sonic fuzz and some of the best guitar wailing on earth. and don't even mention them in the same breath as the fucking smashing pumpkins.
'Ah the pity youth is wasted on the young.'
If you don't get an insane adrenaline rush whenever you hear a J Mascis solo (live or otherwise), I truly feel sorry for you. You should be pitied and ridiculed wherever you go.

:o Sorry about that. I don't know the guy. He's been hanging around lately. Eventually, he'll get bored and move on.

Old farts to reunite

More contrarian adolescent verbal diarrea from our resident 8th grader. You've grown more predictable than an episode of Scooby Doo.

Sorry you weren't alive in 1989 to enjoy the ferocity of j. mascis's electric guitar.

I'm sure you'll be first in line for the Fallout Boy reunion in 2021, and some little dork will say "dude, it's like 2021, not 2007".
Totally laughable that someone who listens to My Chemical Romance would knock Dinosaur Jr. Bet he's never heard a note from "Where You Been", and if he did, he'd crap his diapers. Dinosaur is the real deal, as I witnessed at the end of May in Chicago. Some of the heaviest stuff I've ever had the privilege of witnessing, and gorgeously loud. J Mascis is a REAL guitar player too.
