Just Announced

from Belle & Sebastian newsletter:

Stevie will be heading across the pond next month for a run of shows on the East Coast. To begin with he'll be appearing at the Ballroom, Artisphere, Arlington, DC on the 6th April featuring alongside Frankie Rose, Honey Bunch and Dot Dash. This will be the first of two shows he's playing as part of Chickfactor's "For The Love of Pop" 20th anniversary celebrations. The second of these shows takes place in the Bell House in Brooklyn, New York on the 12th April.

Between those two shows he'll be playing in the side chapel of the First Unitarian Church, Philadelphia on 7th April. The building has an interesting history and has been home to some great shows in recent years.

He doesn't even play live instruments! I'd be surprised if fucking Daft Punk or Kraftwerk were able to sell out Verizon Center! Avicii!?!? What's next Excision headlines Verizon Center? Insanity!

On top of ALL of that I could out DJ those dudes ALL fucking day. Eugh.

Who are all these people?!!?!

One Direction at PAtriot Center? Who the hell is that?

Also ASAP Rocky at the club… quite the Pitchfork push…
And this Avicii thing… he's gonna headline Sweetlife at Merriweather AND the Verizon Center back to back??? I literally hadn't heard of him before a month or two ago.
same here, up until last fall I had no idea who this guy was.

its crazy how popular EDM is now, I guess. I mean when was the last time a superstar DJ or EDM act played the Verizon Center?
Did I miss the Feelies announcement, or do I get the honor of being the first to add it? Thanks, Seth!

Asap AND Schoolboy Q. Are they pushed on Pitchfork? Pft. Who reads that?
A$AP Rocky ain't bad at all.  But that's my opinion, not Pitchfork's.
A$AP isn't bad, not enough out for me to judge or care though.  Big GvB push. $25 is asking too much though for me.  May catch him at sweet life.

the weeknd @ the club 4/26 - tickets on-sale @10am.

did i miss that announcement somewhere way back?  Tickets are a range from $12-$32… I'm confused and intrigued.
^ $12 is parking
you all do realize . . . that special k is making a huge fucking comeback.  just ask the jersey shore.

No word yet for a public sale, looks like it's only been opened up to re-sellers so far:
