no it isn't!!!

phew, you scared me there for a sec.  wtf!

Not what he was referring to.

He was talking about this:
Mayhem - This show has been cancelled. Refunds available at place of purchase through 04/21/10.
Ludicra, Tombs, Krallice

Wed 4/7

9:30 Club
Washington, DC

Or was there a joke there that I missed?
really?  i have to explain it to you?

they're both "mayhem tours" (mayhem the band vs. mayhem the traveling festival), but "luckily" the craptastic one wasn't canceled - get it?  i was being ironic.  thought that was common currency around here…
This does open a nice spot for Ween though.  Seth????

Ween's playing in NC that night.

I thought that maybe that's what you were getting at Sweetcell but wasn't sure.

At the risk of sounding like a bad American, I can think of few things more cringe-inducing than the idea of a Toby Keith concert on 9/11.

Don't worry about it. A Toby Keith concert on 9/11 is pretty much the most un-American event possible.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with finding that cringe-worthy; it is cringe-worthy.
