Yeah, if I (or anybody else) had made a stupid snarky little quip like that, it would have been immediately dismissed, not nominated for post of the decade.

Yikes, I shouldn't have slept on that one.

Having exceeded my ticket budget last week on V Fest, Tapes 'n Tapes and Art Brut, I was hoping to wait until today to pick up 2 for 10/30.

Unfortunately the band's site is out of tickets.

Does this mean I'm S.O.L.?

No, dude, it just means the band's pre-sale allotment (probably about 100 tickets) is sold out. There'll be a regular 9:30 sale at some point. Maybe even a separate 9:30 pre-sale. Just keep your eyes peeled.

I saw them open for CYHSY at the BC and the 8x10 last year.

They were definitely solid, but I'm not sure if I totally understand all the hype.

KEXP jocks these guys like none other.

Still, they'll make for a good opener…

And in case anyone cares, Mike Stroud has begun to play with Ben Kweller again. I'm not sure if he'll be on the next tour though, because obviously Ratatat is touring, too…
