I really think it will help. BUT - you won't know until you pick them up. If I was joining today - I'd also try my luck during regular on-sale. Then devise some type of plan to use the better option.

For some of the large metro areas - you'll be lucky to even get tix through TM. So at least 10C tix will get you in. The crowd in the 10C section is almost always better too.

Also consider travelling to some lesser populated city to see them. There's only ~350,000 10C members worldwide. You'll be amazed at what seats your number can get you somewhere down south.

you also get a huge break on all of the BS charges associated with your typical show. it definitely helps to get the tenclub number going and your seats will be better than they would be otherwise. it probably pays for itself if you get a pair to one show.

I had a Kosmo-esque number & did let it lapse.

By the time I re-joined - they'd gone all electronic & had no record of the old paper trail. So I'm now in the upper 100,000s :(

I'm working on my routine now for my big audition to be Kosmo's PJ buddy.

well xcanuks member # is lower than mine, but I ended up 2nd and 4th row in canada… i'd have to check but on the last tour you could transfer tickets to another ten club member… however is there a limit to the number of times you can transfer and can they only be transferred to a member without tickets.

And this limits you to 2 tickets/show, right?

EDIT: Oh, great, apparently I had to be signed up by last night to get in on this round of presales.

in the past yes… in the past you could get multiple dates on tour, but that might change as well..

Yep - the only negative I've encountered.
But the positive spin is that more members get better seats.

Are the worst TenClub seats at least decent? I've only been a member for about a year. I realize I won't be right up front, but it would be nice to know that I wasn't waaaay in the back, or up at the top.

They should always be better than the regular on-sale tickets. The whole idea is to get the best tickets into the hands of real fans.

The only way you should have very bad seats (waaay in the back) is if in fact everyone in attendance IS a fanclub member. Very unlikely.

there was a whining about how the tickets were assigned in Canadam as not everyone got a floor seat getting seats on the side instead. although quite frankly a good seat on the side beats being buried in the back of the floor. and i'm sure the prerequist whining about the setlists will ensue, which is why i don't worry about such things… as long as they cover "bleed for me" and play "spin the black circle" nobody gets hurt…

DC and Philly looking most tempting… Wish there was another DC date.

Rut Ro… someone just replied to the Pearl Jam email and it was sent to all… hopefully they'll shut it down the email address quickly as these things tend to get ugly really fast
