is the new one much better than the first one which I could never get in to?
They are pretty comparable in quality and style. Probably if you didn't care for the first one, the second won't grab you either. But hard to say with certainty of course.

We might consider going. Seen them twice, once seated, and once standing, and they're defintely one of those bands its better to be seated for.

Ooooh, good job by Death Cab for Cutie in snaring some UK dates with Blink 184.

Death Cab for Cutie will be playing a few festivals this summer
(including the "Bite of Oregon" with They Might Be Giants and
Pedro the Lion, the Q101-sponsored "Chicago's Alternative" event
with Modest Mouse and the Walkmen, and a Pixies show in September
in Bend, OR). They'll also be playing a few dates with Blink-182
in the UK in the late fall.
DBT @ the 9:30!

DBT tour dates

I'll be at this one for sure…one of my favorite bands at one of my favorite venues. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!

Just saw this on Pollstar:

8/21/04 - Q And Not U - Trinity Lutheran Church - Washington DC.

If anyone cares, Miss Kittin spinning at Cubik, aka Nation's, this Friday.
