Just Announced

Supposedly Pearl Jam is announcing a stadium tour.

How about Nats Park instead of that dump Nissan!

sure.

I struggle to figure out how to show venues on my site.  I maintain separate venue-specific pages for ~45-50 of the venues around town that seem to be the most popular.  I actively track and post shows for ~400 different venues, which is a completely overwhelming list to put on the site for the casual reader, but I probably should have a lengthy venues list somewhere on the site for this kind of thing.

One arena, one baseball stadium for July.  Fall shows will be announced in the next few months.

So far, just Wrigley.
Roomrunner, not Reptar playing the Parquet Courts show. BC muffed up. Also Foul Swoops added.

Strong triple bill that is.

Still obnoxious that it is on the mainstage though.
Roomrunner is 3rd on the Ty Segall bill. Are they any good? I'm looking forward to seeing Ex-Cult but arriving early enough for Roomrunner will be a major challenge because these two little boys aint putting theyselves to bed ya know?

Also, fyi, tix for GOAT are now available.

Plus the backstage just sounds infinitely better.

I'm looking forward to testing this theory.
I don't disagree but sq has never been a huge issue for me and I always put BC into the 'good sound' category. The backstage shows I've seen have been crowded as hell and thus a little more challenging to navigate than upstairs but I also appreciate the smaller, more intimate space.
I still wonder how GOAT gets all those people in that corner. I guess that's their problem.
Anyway, got tix, pretty excited.
I dig them. They have a heavy 90's thing happening. http://roomrunner.bandcamp.com
Also a fun live show for which they opt on playing on the floor. Denny from Double Dagger is their frontman.

Cool. I will try to make them. Are you going to the Ty show?
Yup.

Special Guest DJ: PRINCE PAUL

Moneytown for February is going to be EXCITING. And that's an understatement, because our special guest is none other than the mighty PRINCE PAUL!! He'll be spinning strictly 45s people, so PLEASE don't even consider missing this. For those not in the know, Prince Paul is the true definition of a Hip-Hop originator. From his beginnings with live hip-hop pioneers Stetsasonic, to producing for innovative acts like 3rd Bass and De La Soul, to forming the horrorcore collective Gravediggaz, all the way to his Handsome Boy Modeling School venture alongside producer Dan The Automater, Paul has always tested musical boundaries. All that, plus the man knows his soul music. Expect serious dance-floor heaters.

As always, Moneytown goes down on the first Friday of the month at Little Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar, and is FREE. 10pm-close. SOUL.
The Evens Baltimore show at 2640 is now on February 9th.
There is so much going on on February 9th.
