this friday, april 14, sigur rós will perform at the walt disney concert hall in los angeles, in a special event featuring the los angeles philharmonic. the concert will be streamed by pitchfork via the link below as well as their homepage and facebook live.

the performance will feature a 50-minute set of sigur rós performing with the los angeles philharmonic, followed by a second 50-minute set of the band playing songs on their own. the orchestral set will feature several guest arrangers; daníel bjarnason, dan deacon, david lang, missy mazzoli, anna meredith, nico muhly, owen pallet and páll ragnar pálsson. it all kicks off 9pm pacific/midnight eastern.

expect lawsuits and two different YES bands touring…. I really think the Anderson/Rabin/Wakeman is the way better offering… considering Squire died and all that is left on that side is an ailing White and Steve Howe but YMMV
