Love this band, and Brownout. But life conflicts on both days.
Oh no! You are my target audience on Millenium Stage shows

It was fucking sad, I'm surprised they're coming back
Yeah but the Kennedy Center will be great…cause it’s free everyone will show up
Mike Peters (from the Alarm) to perform in Washington DC this Tuesday 8th January 2019
Mike Peters is making a flying visit to take part in an Elvis Presley Birthday Celebration concert at Pearl Street Warehouse in Washington DC.

I can't tell if he's getting his own set?

I can't imagine that they are paying him as much as it costs to fly and stay one night in DC, but it is a charity that he cares deeply about

My gf and I went to this and we absolutely loved it. We got there right as it was starting and saw all the people and thought, aww crap, but within five minutes, we were able to move up quite easily and we really enjoyed this show. We made a resolution to go to more of these Millennium Stage shows. We also ran into a guy she used to date that is in the orchestra for Miss Saigon and he let us into the orchestra pit to check out all the instruments plus he is scoring us tickets for it tomorrow night. What a great day this was.

So are we looking forward to a devil's triangle ?  you know the drinking game
Believe it or not, I was fully expecting there to be at the very least a little attitude between us. But then he showed up and was immediately super friendly and invited us to see the Orchestra Pit and we were getting along so well at one point I suggested my gf take a hike and let us hang out and he laughed and clapped me good-naturedly on the back.

It probably helped that despite his impressive height and hair, I was still a much more handsome man than he was, and we both knew it from the start.

I went to see Miss Saigon last week as a treat to my partner.  I knew none of the music and only had a vague sense of the story, but quite enjoyed it.  We had the backup Kim as well for our performance but my partner was thrilled and even joking about going back to see the main Kim's version.

Hey, this is great to know and to hear. Glad you enjoyed it. I know NOTHING about it other than the fact that there's a helicopter at some point.

so cultured… (TBT…that's all I know too!)
It's a good musical from the team that brought Les Miz.  Mostly Filipino cast in the original West End and Broadway productions.  This one is lead by a Filipino cast as well.

The helicopter was basically all I knew going in as well. You can hear the musical similarities to Les Mis for sure.
