I just found out the other night that she played the DIY venue formerly known as Warehouse Loft a few years ago. Kinda nuts.

Yep. I was obsessed with her. I had a DJ gig that night so I couldn't go. Then I went into Marvin to grab a drink before my gig and my bartender buddy told me she was just in there grabbing dinner. I was so distraught. I think it was 2 summers ago… I sincerely never thought she'd come back to DC let alone become one of the biggest pop stars around today…
