The birchmere is fantastic. The sound and view is great from everywhere in the room. It is pretty small though, and I don't exactly know how popular Billy will be, so you should probably get tickets if you want to go.

In other news…Alkaline Trio at Nation is announced on Ticketmaster. Any idea when this goes on sale? I'm pretty sure it will sell out…

A second show (Monday 3/27) has been added.

This tour is in support of Volume 1 - a 9-disc boxset of his early career. So I would expect this to be a solo best-of show.

I just have to vent…ticketwanker's web site is down, Social Distortion tickets in San Diego just went on sale, and I got stuck with the crappy automated voice system on the phone that keeps wanting to sell me tickets to the House of Blues in Anaheim. This blows. So now I'm on hold on the phone, waiting for an operator. I hope that this thing doesn't sell out, though I can't imagine it will. It's just so damn frustrating.
