I saw Vampire Weekend at the First Unitarian in Philly and it was not pretty - it was their basement. Think Monday night bingo space. Or your high school bake sale space. Small, no frills, not necessarily great acoustics, and no smoking or drinking. Just something to keep in mind.
All of this was irrelevant to me and I had a great time but I know these kind of things matter to some…

Tue June 3- ADAM GREEN, LIGHTSPEED CHAMPION, FLOWERS FOREVER
i used to like adam green a whole lot in ninth grade and always wished he'd play in dc but he never did. i remember he was supposed to open for phantom planet at norva or something but he didn't make it, or the show got canceled. i think that's the closest he's almost been. it's too bad i don't like him anymore, i'd be real excited if this were happening five years ago.

Grand Archives
Rock n Roll Hotel
I saw them what seemed like 5 times at SXSW. They were pretty decent. Mat Brooke definitely brought the softer side of the first Band of Horses album.

This would be perfect if it were the Go Gos and not just Belinda, and it were The Bongos instead of Naked Eyes. But I'll take it (though I may be traveling at that time…)
