So my efforts to revive Ben Orr from the dead have succeeded!
OK now this is a good one. Has me legitimately unsure if it is real or not.
They are working on a new album so maybe?

Look for more info on Monday.
Probably the worst live shows I've seen in all my years.
And that was after their second album when they were young.

I concur the Cars were one the dullest  bands I've seen live
I can't imagine the Cars in their prime being duller than a 70 year old Paul Simon on acoustic guitar.

Don't tell me this is April Fool's too?
Are the cars really that bad live? Hate to hear it. I trust yall though. Didnt believe all the talk about MGMT being that lame live till I saw them for my own.. Most likely the worst 40 bucks i spent on a show ever.
Geez, you're going to let two random people on a message board dissuade you? At least dig up some youtube videos and form an opinion for yourself.

The Cars @ Merriweather was the first concert I ever went to.
Wang Chung was the opener.  One can only hope that they too reunite.
Be careful for what you ask for,  was that the tour with the cars hanging above the stage?

Does anyone know if there will be a presale of any sort?  Even if they are terrible live, that might be a mistake I have to make for myself (hell I saw Dylan 3 or 4 times before I decided to put a tourniquet on that hemorrhaging waste of money!)

5-21 rfk stadia

srsly?  no way that they can sell enough tickets for a stadium.  part of a festival?  or singing the national anthem at a DC United game?

It's for chili cook off.  The lineup is this Seether, Rise Against, Soundgarden, Weezer, The Garret Bash Experience.  Pretty sure it's not April Fools joke but I would pay to go to that  ;D

Weezer is in Philly on the 20th, then nowhere until NJ on the 27th
Rise Against is touring heavily until May 14th, when they play Chicago before disappearing until July 9 in Canada
Seether came right out and announced RFK on the 21st, though didn't mention the cook-off by name (although they link to it)
I couldn't find anything on Soundgarden or Garret Bash
