I was surprised a year or two ago when Patti played Anthem. She sounded really  good! I want to say as good as ever but that can’t be…. The band was also fantastic. Twas a great show…it was seated

Not having seen her since the early 2000s I expected her to have lost a step….

Obviously there is a bit of sleight of hand that goes on with elderly performers - they know all the tricks of the trade- but I was impressed

I remember we caught her at the club I think on the 97 Gone Again tour (jez 28 years ago!)
she came out and met us outside the green room on the second floor after the show (way before you got everything signed)
I have a signed ticket stub from that

I remebmer her closing with Rock n Roll N!#@! and it was epic
sadly a song we'll never hear again (even if she does an 'easter' album tour)

(wow she played the club 5 times between jan 97-May 2000)
