This seems like such a waste when they could be doing 25th anniversary shows of their best LP instead 20th anniversary shows of their 6th best LP.

No, they need to do a 17th anniversary show of their best LP.
Stick to coffee. Lay off the crack.

A you’re at least referencing one of their top 2-3 albums which is better than Mr. Narrow Stairs over there.
If you're going back 25 years, we can agree that they had their best EP that year (Photobooth and the alternate, more reverby Company Calls Epilogue FTW). But it's a close call v. Open Door, the extras from their absolute no-holds-barred, astonishingly beautiful bestest album evah.
How do you guys keep the release date of every Death Can album in your heads?

Fountains of Wayne without Adam  :(
I love that Ocean City, MD has become this music festival hot spot: Oceans Calling, Country Calling and now Boardwalk Rock.  It's so funny, but also being in OC those days rules…the town is empty.

Definitely the first time this festival has anything worthwhile; I still wouldn't go as I'm staunchly anti-festival but having Devo, Modest Mouse and Franz Ferdinand is pretty good.  And hosted by JASON BIGGS
Yeah, didn’t they usually have the worst bro rock?

This actually looks decent but are the type of people around OC into this????

I saw that but it was just as much Chris's band too, as he was there from the start. Plus, he also sang lead all of Adam's wonderful songs.  Jody and  Brian didn't join the band until Utopia Parkway.  Max Collins of Eve6 is filling in on bass, who is the person behind the Eve6 twitter account.
Everybody got to make a living….

But yeah it’s a bit wistful

I always been more of an Ivy man but that band is d o n e

I just recall what romantic dalliance I was in the middle of when they came out. I remember most chronological things via personal nostalgia.
FoW without Adam Schlesinger is almost like the Beatles without Lennon, the Doors without Jim Morrison, 10k Maniacs without Natalie Merchant… or maybe it'll turn out just fine, like Pink Floyd without their overrated and annoying bassist (Schlesinger was neither).

Schlesinger wrote a lot of their stuff. I read somewhere that Collingwood was mostly out drunk on Traffic & Weather?
But I'd at least see them even with the Eve6 guy, they were awesome back in the day and have never had a bad album.

So you got a new twin-sized bed in 2008? That year didn't possess your heart?

I recall Jordan and I drinking in a grape vineyard that year, for sure, but it wasn't on fire.

lol
I love Fountains of Wayne, but we left their 9:30 show early because we weren't feeling it live.
How interesting

Woah… very different experience. I think they played two shows at 9:30 on the WIM tour and we saw the second one, was sold out.
