I heard the show with Cut Chemist was less than great.

Six Organs/Kohoutek that night, however was more awesome than I ever could've hoped.

I have to agree, I thought the show was great. If you're going in expecting Endroducing and Preemptive Strike, you might be a little pissed, but the show with Cut Chemist was all about having fun and doing it "old school". None of this MacBook GarageBand driven stuff… if you know what I mean. I'm not dogging DJs that do that, I'm just saying there's something awesome about 45s and a DJ.
Oh yeah don't get me wrong; the 45's thing sounds great in theory. Still, I heard that the last tour didn't hold a candle to Product Placement or Brainfreeze.

I also used to have a recording of the first (?) show featuring the "Hard Sell" material from about a year ago and it sounded to me like they could've been doing a lot more up there.

Saw Hard Sell, saw Product Placement, the last one was just a different style. PP IMO was the best of them, but that's because I liked their base style and music they used to intermix.
Still no Dino Jr. but… for the Bmore folks
