CIRCLE JERKS
BLACK CAT
10/10

Ate we rating announcements now too? I would have given that an 8.5 / 10, but I've never really been a fan.

Thanks. I mean, 40 years of "Group Sex" at the Black Cat to me just seems to warrant all caps…if there's one show this year that will probably go down as the most authentic punk rock experience you're going to see, it's this one.

I'm excited…first Rocktober show confirmed

tickets on sale Friday March 6 at NOON: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/circle-jerks-40th-anniversary-of-group-sex-tickets-96178824453

I just hope it's not a 16 minute show
So it’s the original lineup or the usual guys rounded up from the street?

Three-fourths of the final lineup – Keith Morris, guitarist Greg Hetson, bassist Zander Schloss –
Oh that is pretty good…

On a macro level, it's a bummer for the local scene, but that place always sucked.

The sound blew and wtf w the bathrooms behind the stage - gtfoh

I remember seeing Vampire Weekend there back in the day

I saw Cibo Matto there and it was maybe the WORST experience ever. I never went back. Will not miss.

Playing all the hits at a third of the speed that you’re used to.

That said, I’ll attend and hope it turns out better than FLAG.

If IMP didn't book the festival, would they be allowed to book one of the undercard bands for a club show?

Maybe some other time…since the Foo Fest is not IMP pretty sure they can’t book the Go gos around the time of this show

Thought the same thing.  Their summer dates are pretty full though.
Sucks it's at FedEx and literally not anywhere else.
