My god! What's the deal with March 26? There's now at least three decent shows on the same night!

Good Move.

There was long line outside for The Bravery here in SF last week and a couple hundred went home disappointed.
I realize Travistan was the worst thing maybe ever, but still:

Wilco Enhance "Ghost"

Band to offer free bonus tracks via Web site

Wilco are offering free bonus tracks to people who have purchased their A Ghost Is Born CD. On March 7th, Ghost outtakes "Panthers" and "Kicking Television," along with live versions of "Handshake Drugs," "The Late Greats" and "At Least That's What You Said," will be available for download at wilcoworld.net. Visitors must insert a copy of the CD into their computers to gain access to the downloads.

The following day, the band will release a double-LP vinyl edition of A Ghost Is Born, featuring new art work and album cover, as well as a limited-edition vinyl version of 2002's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
WED MAR 30- GRAHAM COXON (formerly of Blur), 22-20s, GOLDEN REPUBLIC $15 mainstage 8:30

The 22-20's have been added to this show! I just saw them at the London Astoria on Saturday, and they were incredible. A show not to be missed by anyone who loves blues rock.
Wasn't this from a year ago?

Not being a frequent visitor to Wilcoworld.net, I can't confirm nor deny if these tracks were offered last year, but I can tell you that it was news to Rolling Stone and wilcoworld.net and the live tracks are from the band's October 2004 show at the Orpheum Theater in Madison, Wisconsin. The two studio tracks are from the Ghost album sessions.
they did a similar free download via their website promotion for owners of YHF - maybe thats what Rhetts thinking of?

i think demos of kicking television and handshake drugs were available on wilcoworld after the YHF release but i would guess these are different versions…you'd think they'd put up some completely new material this time tho. they must be fiddling with new material now, especially with nels in the fold.
