Interesting choice. They really couldn't get one of The Misfits previous six or so drummers to participate? Eh, I guess that it doesn't matter. Dave Lombardo smokes all those guys.

I feel like I could really get into this.  I'm drawn to this kind of thing, but don't know much about it.  Aphex Twin, Autechre seem to be in the same corner of the galaxy.  This guy recommended Sun Glitters.  You heard of them?

Yay yay yay yay yay….

A good fall for power pop.  Sloan will be at the RnR on FriDAY, Nov 18.

And Dressy Bessy opens for Pylon Reenactment Society at Iota on Sept 22.

All good shit, man.

I am alive!  Just old and busy.  I check in, really just to this thread, about every 3 weeks or so.  Seeing all the old school stuff like Springsteen, Echo, Dressy Bessy, Sloan, Lush, Tommy Keene, etc.  Just got back from L.A. where I saw both Guided by Voices shows in L.A.  FANTASTIC.  I swear, that is the best rock band on the planet.  And there are many amazing rock bands.

PS, Keene was at the first L.A. GBV show, though I saw that on FB later, didn't see him at the show.  Did see Jason Falkner at the Saturday show, said hi and fanned out on him.
Ha, as gone from here as long as I have been, I'm still in the top 10 of posters.  I was busy busy busy in the aughts!

I was utterly thrilled she showed back up and commented, thereby making that whole tangent train come full circle. I grinned from ear to ear.

Keller Williams Thanksforgrassgiving
@ 930 Club

First things first. The weekend after Thanksgiving I will be surrounded by an all star line up for a pair of exciting shows: Friday night 11/25 at the 9:30 Club in D.C, and Saturday night 11/26 at The National in Richmond VA. Both nights will feature Jeff Austin on Mando, Nicky Sanders (Steep Canyon Rangers) on fiddle Danton Boller (Keller Williams KWahtro) on Bass, and Jay Starling (Love Canon) on dobro. Love Canon opens and more than likely, I will be crashing their stage. Thanksforgrassgiving is all about music lovers coming together in an attempt to entertain our selves and push the boundaries of blue grass
