a hard rocking UK outfit, i've been following for awhile.. not nearly hyped as Wet Let, but guess i'd better get a ticket now as it's likely to sell out and hopefully things will be more normal come May

Anyone want a free ticket to this show?  I can't make now and would like the ticket to go to a good home.  Having never transferred an e-ticket, it looks like it can be done relatively easily via EventBright

It's been claimed and they'll probably blow up bigtime… they are playing on a AWOLNation tour in October… I did learn something interesting that both they and The Lathums are managed by Alfie Skelly who is the brother or James and Ian or The Coral fame.  Guess he knows talent when he  sees it.

I think Jesse's Portland food truck business went under, so he's probably available. But isn't Marty still in prison for beating up his model girlfriend?

Also, I'd be much more into it if Marty wasn't in the band, regardless of his imprisonment status. That guy had the most annoying stage presence of any band member in any band, ever.

I didn't know anything about Marty and domestic violence, so that's certainly a bummer. All I know is that the Shins lost a lot of their quirkyness that made them so amazing back in the early days and the band watered it down when Jesse and Marty left and James cemented his grip on what we knew as The Shins.

I know, sincerely, every indie fan who ever grew up.

A portion of the proceeds of every show go to stolen ape repatriation efforts.

that janes show about 8 years ago at the club was just fantastic
no real desire to see this tour or pay $150 for cheap seats

Yeah impossible to top that

When I saw them at Jiffy from the pit right up front it was a similarly great experience

Painful to the ears. Sounds as bad as Bon jovi does in 2022.

Well years have passed but having the video of the 930 show I can say it was a damned good one

Also amazing how many people don’t realize that things always sound better at the concert anyways

One can go see the Stones and be convinced they saw a great show and then watch video which is cringe… that’s why it’s called a SHOW

Drnking a pitcher of beer at the show probably helps with the sound too. ;)
Definitely…and all the stimuli…the people…the lights … the visuals…

It’s hard to hear how bad , for example, Keith Richards’ guitar often sounds.. it’s a show…they make sure you hear Ronnie’s guitar but think it’s Keith…they know every trick in the book…it’s a performance in every sense of the word

Not picking on the Stones just using them as an extreme example to make the point that often what you think you see and hear at a rock concert isn’t exactly what you perceive… there is a lot of sleight of hand

do you know the song?  that's what it's supposed to sound like - so perhaps this song has always hurt your ears?  perry's vocals are fine in that vid.
Oh geez and here I was assuming space knew what he was talking about
