you can walk there from Sonar. and seeing as though there arent really any houses (or anything for that matter) nearby, i havent found that area to be sketchy. its a little deserted which may give it that "something bads about to happen" feel to it!"
Back in November, me and my friend tried to see a show at the Talking Head to see the Essex Green. We couldn't find the venue at first because the venue is located at the end of a very quiet alley. Quite frankly, we were freaked out because no one was around at 8 pm. We knocked on the door and talked to someone and he wasn't even sure if there will be a show because none of the bands have showed up at 8 pm (and it was a sunday nite also). So we just left.

So, Sonar is in the same neighborhood?
Are there any venues in the Inner Harbor?

i'll wait for the real tour before i go all-out for the lips.

Argh! I want to see them, but I'll be at Wolf Parade. That's a crazy week. I think I have a show every night.

You can say it, and i can say it, hell even the bands can say it, but the venue just doesn't want it to be on any website or poster/flyer until GJ plays their date at the Cat with the Joggers. Always thought this was kind of a silly rule, but what can you do.
