can't believe all these dc peeps haven't listend to the postal service

i mean heck just for the district sleeps alone tonight you'd have thought people around here would have heard it..

I've heard that song. I can't stand Death Cab so I felt no need to listen to Postal Service.

well death cab and postal service are very different…

i'm not the biggest fan of postal service but that's a good record…

Postal service sound just like Death Cab but syntheir, if that even is a word
;D

it is but it is spelled "synthier" FYI

:D

to me all these bands are the problem with modern music: NO BALLS.

put up any of these songs against AC DC's Let there be rock

no comparison… modern music is for emasculated eunuchs.

still, the few times i listened to the postal service's album i thought it was pretty good and i have a copy somewhere around here…

Funny thing is that Postal Service sounds like an early 80's band.  I don't think they sound anything like  Death Cab for Cutie.

I'm not the one that said they did…
Way too small of a venue. This guy should be playing Nationals Stadium.

What a joke. Fedex Field is more like it.
stevewizzle wins boardie of the day, which amounts to a virtual gold star…  future postal service rantings will be returned to sender.

Fuck that. National Mall or nothing.
Janel and Anthony are just announced as openers for the 9th and Beats Jacco Gardner show on  March 5.

(does replying to this in the just announced thread rescind my virtual gold star?)
yes
Torn between that Jacco Gardner/Janel & Anthony show and Matmos/Horse Lords.
Did I already post Cloud Cult - BC - 4/13? I keep forgetting who is my CC buddy?
Also, Glen H. Jun 16 club. Don't take my ticket.

Here I am!

I posted about it a few pages back.  I will definitely be in attendance (will be my fourth or fifth show). I am excited to hear their new music. That last one was so different… so upbeat.

They are on different days. (Jacco at 9th and beats on March 5, Matmos in Baltimore on March 6).

I initially thought that was the case until I saw this and this.

Well you could see Jacco on the 6th at Golden West, unless there's a Priests show that night.
Hahaha you too?

Baltimore on weeknights is a pain. Already doing Mission of Burma the following week. Speaking of which, I should probably snag a ticket to that. So I probably will have to blow Matmos off.

Tomahawk! Wednesday, June 5th @ 9:30 Club

Count me in! I don't think they have been here since the Geek Show tour in 2003.
