worth going to?
I have seen the Orb like 3 times I think…once at the old club, twice at the new club. They usually have a pretty killer sound system, and great visuals. That being said, I have always liked the Orbital much better. It might be an OK show.

Maybe it was an off night; but the last time they played 9:30, they were absolutely awful. 2nd worst show I ever saw there. Dave Navarro solo was the worst…. Metric opened the show for South(before they were famous)
Though I'm not sure I'd go with awful, I agree that it was not a good show. At the time, I wondered if it had to do with Metric stealing the show…
That's what is strange. I really like them on record. Metric was great; but South's performance never got going.
I luved With the Tides…was surprised this record didn't click with more people…although I do like their new one it hasn't grabbed me as much as from Here on In or With the tides…nor did the EP…that being said I'm a sucker for Stone Rosey beats and lush atmospherics so I (and the Cedars camp) will be there in full force…goooooooooooo South!

i'm guessin' the tour is being promoted entirely by clear channel which is why they are playing nissan…
So are you saying Depeche Mode are a bunch of corporate sellout poseurs?
