Gotta love Pittsburgh. Love their new baseball stadium. But do you think Wilco will be playing in the DC area soon? They have dates in New York and Tennessee in June. Here's hoping they won't skip DC.

for the curious, white flight is a trio of sax/trumpet/drums heavily inspired by free jazz and improv, featuring jacob and daniel of black eyes, and matt schnipper, who had been putting on shows at the eternal life loft space last year.
they are also playing with dead meadow and espers on saturday, 4/17, at the warehouse.

I caught a few seconds of advance warning on mtv2 last night, it was the one with Washington Social Club. It said they are part of the Warped Tour this year, is that right?

Yeah, I saw WSC listed in the Vans Warped Tour ad in last week's City Paper. I was quite surprised.

I have the new cd and, while it is quite different from her solo stuff, I don't find it very far removed from the 2003 Muses album, much of which was also very hard & in your face.
