The Church of St. Paul the Apostle is going to be an awesome place to see them! Both NYC shows sold out, btw.

I think it sold out sometime around noon today. That church isnt a huge venue - so not surpising and the sound is amazing there. The Wordless Music Series shows are absolutely phenomenal. I saw Johnny Greenwood's music performed there for "There Will Be Blood". And saw Mum at another church. Both were unbelievable performances (as are all wordless shows).

Last month he also announced he was 'too old to be singing about girls' and was only going to dj and produce/remix in the future.

Really? I mean, that's cool. According to his last album though some chick shit all over him/broke his heart. So much for the playboy in the first album…

It's all in the delivery. Nick Cave is well in his 50's and the vast majority of Grinderman's lyrics are about his trying to get laid and failing. It's hilarious and will never get old.

Playing mostly instrumental pieces. Juliana Barwick opening. Judging by how astounding his Useless Creatures record is, this is gonna be jizzworthy.

Ticketfly also has him there on 12/8.
Julliana Barwick was good opening for Eluvium at DC9. Much better than he was, actually.
