There WILL be another opener for this show, but I'm unable to reveal my sources.
Apparently it's Whispertown 2000. Not a fan. BSS for me that night.

Meh, saw em open for Jenny Lewis and I wasn't impressed. I think I remember them not being very good singers. Definitely better to look at than listen to…

Hmm…well, Morgan definitely has that whole "idiosyncratic voice" bit going on. But I urge you to check them out. They hadn't played a whole lot of shows when they went on the Jenny Lewis tour, if that's any consolation. They are a very cute, fun group, and their cd is really kind of airy and folky and I like it. Might not be your schtick. But you should go see them anyway :)

This is dissapointing. We tried to get Girl Talk for the Festival, but they wanted waaaay too much money. I know the Cat is not paying them much. We're being sabotaged damn it.

Really awesome news about Incubus. Hopefully the tickets won't be priced through the roof.
This show is next Monday, but I hope some of y'all can make it. The Big Sleep played at the Mercury Lounge last New Year's and blew me a way. I consider their genre to be "stoner space-rock." I bought their EP that night and as soon as I returned home, sent an e-mail to friends raving about the band. They're now on an indie label, got a review in Pitchfork and are beginning to tour outside of NYC.
