Thanks, Kurosawa – HIPS is a great local organization. I've been on the host committee for an annual HIPS event, and the people involved are inspiring. This particular need would not have occured to me, but it makes sense once you talk to folks.

Decahedron – the band formerly known as the Black Sea (ex-Frodus; Joe Lally of Fugazi) – are palying the Warehouse on 1-31 and the Black Cat on 2-24. I think Lally has been replaced.

Hey, the Tavern is where I saw Urge Overkill in 93! That's when Nash opened the show with, "Welcome to the lunch room!" Odd venue, but that was a damn memorable show.
