Just Announced

The new 'pumpkins' album is really good!

So Billy Corrigan is playing the Patriot Center on Nov 3.  I find it suprising that he is using the Smashing Pumpkins name if he is playing his new album "Ocenania" straight through.  Aren't these type of album shows for albums from a bands past that are considered classics?  Like maybe he should play "Gish".  And if he is playing a new album why not just play as Billy Corrigan.  I am sure there will be a lot of angry fans on this tour.  I wouldn't see him at this point at the ottobar or the metro gallery for 10 bucks.  Maybe he can team up with axl who could play Chinese Democracy.
sorry to be 7 minutes late with this but bob dylan/knopfler is on presale on tm  pw is melancholy
I probably won't go to the Dylan Knopfler show but there were good tickets to be pulled onthis presale.. pulled a four row center section 2 and fourth row stage right section 1… wish i had an extra $150 lying around but having just seen him and all…. its interesting the front rows are 150 which seems to be the same price as some of the lower bowl.. also, the front section tickets are will call only…
Counting Crows at nTelos Wireless Pavilion (AKA: Charlottesville Pavilion), Sun Oct 28, tix on presale right now with PW: TheLedge
ok i changed my mind.. i WILL be going to the dylan show.. a fourth row ticket.. just can't pass that up…

4 Arena Shows in PA and they only get a Patriot Center show.  Seems odd.
maybe you can understand him if you're gonna be that close!

WOAH, I just learned what a vas deferens is.
That's strange. Didn't you once say you had a vasectomy?

Yeah but I didn't give it to myself, I paid a handsome doctor to use his busy hands all over my shit. Which he did, so so painfully. God it hurt.

I had it done four years ago and I didn't think it was that bad. I mean.. I was afraid to pee that night, and there was some swelling, but overall, I didn't think it was OMG that hurt.
My mistake was getting the local anaesthetic rather than the full knock-out because I had to drive myself there and back. So I thought it was torture with all the injections and such. And I was also sore for days and black and blue for weeks.

I did the local too. I didn't have to drive though. I got the laser snippage. Is that what you got too? It sounds like you didn't.. based on what you are saying about the pain.
Thank God my wife didn't make me get a vasectomy. Sounds almost as bad as giving your kid a circumcision.

Like I said.. it wasn't that bad imo. I went in on a Friday.. got snipped.. rested/took pain killers.. was back at work on Monday.
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would get a vasectomy. GROSS.
Well that's not true, though neither of my boys are circumcised. In fact, as I type this I am realizing that I am unusually qualified to comment on this, as I was circumcised at age 16 (don't ask) and vasectomized at 38 or 39, so I can say that they are both equally traumatizing but the circumcision was worse.

I will say getting the nut-cut, while a terrible experience, was the best decision because it dramatically improved the quality and volume of sexytime with the wife.

I have a 14 year old daughter. I don't ever want to start over again with a baby. Having a simple procedure done, to prevent it, is well worth a little bit of discomfort. To each their own though.
