Just Announced

Are you serious!? How the hell are they playing Verizon Center!? Patriot Center I could see, but Verizon!? That's fucking huge…. I hope they get a decent turn out. Excited to hear their new album. Still haven't heard the sample clips they dropped a couple days ago. I'll be there, I've missed The Black Keys for the past 4 years. I need to see them before they play FedEx Field next year.

The new album is really good. Been listening to it for a lil under a week now and think it could be better than brothers. Much more of a concise effort. Thrilled to get a chance to finally see them. (Had to give up my freefest tickets this year.)

Seen the monkeys twice since May. Easily one of the greatest live acts out there right now. Turner has really come into his own as a frontman.

Is there any truth to this $5 ticket theory? I have never heard of anything like this and would love to beat the money-grubbing ticket distributors for once.

Verizon Center holds I'm guessing holds at least 15k, maybe more. No way they're selling that many tickets at $54 a pop.

They'll be back at the club in a few years is my guess.
$5 tickets? Nice.

$54 with fees?!?!?

I'd really, really like to see this but mostly for Arctic Monkeys (who I seem to have no luck catching) and anywhere but Verizon.  Beggars (me) can't be choosy, though.

I saw Arctic Monkeys last when they were supporting "Humbug" And it was their best show. Saw them supporting WTSIATWIN and they were good, and stayed good for FWN, but their Humbug show was AMAZING! The Keys played on my 21st birthday and it was sold out at 930 :( and that's been the story ever since then. Always so sad when they come through cuz I just always know I'll miss them. Fingers crossed for this!

Pure speculation on prices, but they won't be James Ford $12 tickets, that's for sure.
I think tickets will be relatively affordable. At least some of them. No way are they coming close to selling that place out if tickets start at 50/60.

I think DAR tickets were ~40 before fees.
$55-$40
according to the event posted by the Club's facebook page.
Prices in Norfolk are $42 and $47  Chicago is $40 and $60.  Ohio is $32 and $46.  I say Verizon will be similar priced to Chicago as everyone in DC is rich bitch

;D
