Holy crap, Ministry and Revco?? That will be unreal. Being from Chicago (at the height of industrial, no less), I am SO there.

yeah, this tour was supposed to happen awhile ago (ministry/revco) but got delayed….at one point LARD and Skinny Puppy were supposed to be on it as well.

Levels of popularity mean nothing to me when it comes to the music I enjoy. The part of prog I don't like are the gigantic guitar solos, songs with 35 parts that go on for 35 minutes, etc. Actually, the part of Rush I don't like are his vocals. It's just my opinion but they do nothing for me.

As Porcupine Tree's career has evolved, they have been refining their music to make shorter, to-the-point songs. The prog element is still there but the songs are much easier on the ear to the common fan. Some people would call that selling out, but for me, it's made their music more concise and enjoyable.

jon langford will be playing at millennium stage on friday sept. 9 and at iota the next evening.

anyone know who is going to be in the Revolting Cocks line up?

the last revco lineup annoucent was of course Al Jourgenson, Phil from Skatenigs, and basically the rest of the guys in Ministry.

apparently Chris and Al had a falling out.

Is there any guarantee that the band members will even still be alive at that date?

if i can sit through a Jayhawks show in the rain for 1 hour and 15 minutes, i suppose i could do the Sadies…

Sadies are a much better live band than Jayhawks, in my estimation

yeah, it'll be all acoustic. danny thompson has been one of the best (and most underrated) bassists in folk and folk-rock since the '60s. i'm there on halloween.
