Just Announced

I'd think so…if not it was just over.  Man, that's a bummer.  Looking forward to seeing her again, at Sixth & I (since I've never been) at my first post-baby show.  Guess not…christ, I can't justify that at all.

Ouch. Wasn't it less than $20 to see her at BC with fees?

Come to Philly with Joe and myself. We can hurl mean unwarranted verbal jabs at him all the way up. Or until he cries. Whichever comes second.

OOF.  $45 with all fees included?  I think I'm speaking with my wallet on this one…

If you get them from the box office, the fees are only $2 per ticket.  It's still pricey, though.

In other news, SHOUT OUT LOUDS at 9:30 Club on May 2nd for only $15.  It's probably one of the only reasonably priced shows at the club listed for 2010.  And Goodie Mob is only $27.50 - I expected it to be $30 or 35 based on the pricing for other shows lately.

What about Nada Surf for $20? That's reasonable. I know, I know…you can see them at a church in Philly for $15. But until gas is 2 cents a gallon, and time means nothing, I'll stick with the $20 DC show.
Yeah, the Nada Surf show is one of the other few reasonably priced shows at the club this year.  How they can charge the same price for La Roux is totally beyond me.

Yeah I was totally going to the La Roux show until I saw the price.  Their show at Town was cancelled a few months ago, but that was $10.  100% markup that quick?

$24 including fees in Philly.

Yay R5! Boo LiveNation!

And tickets to both Philly shows just went on sale at 12.

we know, we know: the first time you saw her, you paid $2 to see her play in your living room.  and she was a lot better before she acquired the additional years of practice, performance experience, and a wider repertoire.

aren't you judgmental?  I didn't say that.  Just that it's friggin expensive.  LiveNation and 9:30 ticket are too expensive, so I find myself going to worse venues with worse sound systems to see lesser known bands more often than spending twice as much to see bands I like but not enough to spend $30-50 plus fees.

But this is JUST ANNOUNCED, so stop with this BS and announce a show…

Jagermeister Country Music Tour @ 9:30 Club 2/16
Second Jack's Mannequin show added 3/4 at 9:30 Club
Pat Green 3/6 at 9:30 Club
