And since you inspired me to take a look at the Ram's Head calendar, here are a few shows I don't think have been mentioned (forgive me if I'm wrong).

Cowboy Mouth w/ Eli Cook

Also, I just found out that Candlebox are touring again this summer. Looks like they're skipping over DC and Baltimore though. However, there is this date, which suits me just fine.
Candlebox
Chameleon Club
July 14
It should also be noted that Built to Spill will be at the Chameleon on July 3. I very well may be attending both that show and the July 8 show at the club.
Candlebox?

brilliant or bust, for a show?
i loved them in the day, but not sure if a live show by them will hold up.
From a mailing list I get:
*Club trashing troublemakers THE HORRORS have bailed from the BRMC tour in favor of a headlining tour of their own*
I think that was a mistake on their part. As I'm sure The National will agree, you can get a lot of new fans if you open a bigger tour…

I don't think I've seen this listed yet:
Richard Thompson Band
9:30, June 22
yip!
Does anyone happen to know if he tends to sell the club out? This is the first time he's played there since I've lived here.

MON JULY 23- THE PONYS, JAY REATARD $10 backstage 9:00
poor ponys, relegated to the backstage only a few months after headlining the mainstage. fine by me, their backstage show back in 2005 was the best of the three times they've played at the black cat.

For the record, I know nothing about the band, but that was my first thought.

Yeah. The Polyphonic Spree and the TRachtenburg Family Slideshow Players did a gig at 9:30 a few years back. It was one of the more….um…."unique"….shows. The P-Spree all fit on the club's stage. They put the choir on risers.

Originally posted by sweetcell:I loved their last 9:30 show. I was there with a couple people who never go to concerts, and we are all.. in the right state of mind. I thought it was great. But I kind of figured the Spree were done as a band, so I'm not rushing to get tix to this one.
