Aerosmith's Steven Tyler will be a judge on the upcoming 10th season of American Idol, filling one of the slots left open by departing judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara Dioguardi. The Hollywood Reporter suggested the deal between Tyler and the show was inked on Wednesday, and Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton confirmed the news today, saying, "Steven is someone who absolutely lives to be in front of an audience, and the people closest to him know how witty and entertaining he can be. I don't know if American Idol will be rock 'n' roll enough for him, but it is an opportunity for millions of people to see another side of Steven Tyler." And they are playing right before that at Rams head in Annapolis………and I'll be out of town on business for the Rams Head date and in Vegas for the IOTA date where I'll be attending the Matador 21st weekend……..goddamn I'm pissed!!…..of course there won't be shit I want to see for the next 6 months after that…….everything during one 2 week period…….and then ….nothing….

Woops, put this in wrong thread a few minutes ago (was trying to get info out fast):

I just got two tickets for Jon Stewart.  There are currently one available  Monday, one Tuesday, one Wednesday and seven on Thursday.  http://www.thedailyshow.com/tickets

Five minutes later:  Okay, gone now, but they have a running tally of ticket availability for each day, so it's really easy to see/deal with.  I'd suggest going back and checking each day, maybe around noon or 1 since there were tix available that time today?
