Just Announced

yeah, but that's mostly hobo rock and bands that are the 3rd opener at the Black Cat

these guys are in the top 100 of 2020
I gotta imagine they are all million-dollar properties
Yeah but it’s the same concept.. lazy and start with something familiar

I don’t know though…maybe it’s always been thus

The Crickets
The Beatles (key letter change)
The Byrds (ditto)
The Doors (of perception)

It’s so good.

When do we get our Pavement anthem date?
It does make one long for the days bands opened up a dictionary or book and came up with something cool like

The Velvet Underground
The Grateful Dead
Ok these guys all used The too, such a lack of imagination

I disagree this is the same

Well one can hope 2022… I would love that.. just not sure what their draw is on their own… as great as they were even in their heyday the most they pulled was 1000 at the 930… I hope a new generation wants to check them out…

There is no way Pavement will regroup to just tour clubs like 930…  Summer festivals and a few dates in NYC might be it
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Anthem
August 7

San Holo just announced two headline shows at 930 so not really

I saw that and thought of you

although he is a DJ, not sure that matters

This was a crazy fact I saw when looking him up
San Holo net worth or net income is estimated to be between $1 Million – $5 Million dollars. He has made such amount of wealth from his primary career as DJ.
"Lil Nas X (Montero Lamar Hill)…chose his stage name because "every new rapper’s name is Lil," and he thought calling himself "Lil Nas" would be funny."

POTW
JRAD
MECU Pavilion (Baltimore$
8-21

Surprised to see these guys forgoing the Anthem… they were building up really well at Anthem

If you like the Dead then highly recommended… they kind of are like a more muscular coked up version of Dead to most bands marijuana mellow dead

I'd argue that they're the best "dead" band currently out there, probably better than whatever Bob Weir has going right now.

Not surprised they picked that location based on the rest of the tour… No reason to play indoors if you don't have to at this point.
Ok good point! Is MECU pier 6?

Edit: it is

I agree that they are the best Dead cover band and I been saying they are going places
and on the low end they have Dave Dreiwitz…I'm sure JRAD pays more than Ween

Not to burst your bubble Mr. Hutch, but people have been saying that since circa 2015.

One of the better nights in rock music of the last several years for me was Ween played from about 9pm to midnight followed by three hours JRad. Twas' killer.
