Just Announced

Glad to see his posted!  Interested in going too!
Bummed I missed Krugman a couple weeks ago :(

Chris Hayes 6/18 Politics and Prose
I will probably go to this. His show is always worth tuning in for if you are awake at 8 on a weekend. This also might be the first time I found out about one of these Politics and Prose talks far enough in advance. It seems like they are barely advertised anywhere.
I found out about the Paul Krugman one a few hours beforehand and there was no way I could make it either. There was at least one other one recently where that happened. Peter Beinart, I think?
Screaming Females St. Stephens show canceled. Wonder if DIY shows issue refunds if all the other bands are still slated to play. Guessing no.
And now, the most WTF show listing I have seen in years.

Is it just me or is there next to no information available for this?  I see tix onsale May23 and that it's in Philly on Sept 1, 2– but who's performing? What's the venue?  I've found this, too: "Tickets go on sale on May 23 via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. A few 2-day passes will be available for $99 and Budweiser Facebook fans will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, May 22. Some ticket proceeds will go to charity, to United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey," but I guess they're holding off on the lineup?

Lineup hasn't been announced yet.  Will be held at Farimount Park.  http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/jay-z-to-headline-and-curate-festival-in-philadelpha-20120514  Only known thing will be Jay Z
;D

lineup partially revealed, partially leaked (?)

Pearl Jam, Passion Pit, Dirty Projectors, Skrillex (?), Miike Snow (?), Santigold (?), Odd Future (?), Drake (?), Afrojack (?), D'Angelo (? - one claiming yes, another specifically denying it), The Roots (?).

the leaks were mostly from a screenshot of a VIP ticket page that popped up before it was supposed to.

If a place could ever implode during a show, that would be the day for it.
I love Sebadoh, but do they have a new record? Otherwise I feel like the reunion circuit is a little played out for them.
