First of all if it’s seated we are talking 3000 capacity. Second, as I keep saying: you don’t need a sellout to make $!

I have no knowledge if it’s part of an event but assume she will be performing music with Lenny Kaye and the rest of the band.

I think it’s been a good while since she performed music in DC!

I really hope it isn't seated, but that was my first thought.  It has been a while since she did a proper DC show. Plenty of book signings, but no real concert. Really looking forward to this one!

She did a show at the club in 04 was phenomenal, she even came out and signed things after the show on the second floor by the green room

Before that pretty sure I saw her at club twice in late 90s…great shows….even have a signed poster which is going to crap….she was still performing “rock and roll word I cannot mention cause I am white” back then…. If she performed it today would there be a riot?

Saw her open for Neil Young at James Mason a while back. She was great.

I saw her play the Nader for President rally back whenever it was that Ralph Nader was running for President.

Saw Patti Smith at FreeFest awhile back and the no shirt backwards cap contingent wasn't having it, remember seeing some displeasing tweets during her set.
