to be honest, i'm not much of a party guy.  i might have a guinness or two, and after the show there might be a poker game with the band and crew.  that's the usual extent of the debauchery when i go see flogging molly.
I am envisioning a photo with you in Armani and me with a salad plate lodged in my ear. It'd be hilarious.

if i had to describe you in one word, thatguy, it would be "serene".  therefore, i think it would be a hoot to see you dance and/or otherwise let loose at a show.

the last time i saw them in AC was another story entirely.  there are many stories from that night, but they are not for public consumption.

why do you think i asked if you're going to the atlantic city show?!?  ;D

Well that explains why M. Ward isn't playing the 9:30 Club. I'd normally choose Saturday night over Friday ,night, but already have M Ward Saturday night.

Hopefully you bought your M. Ward ticket because it sold out the day it went on sale ;)

Yes, I got one of the last four from their box office an hour after they went on sale.

The ticketmaster supply was already sold out at that point. But their website helpfully pointed out that mere $150 or so, you could scoop up one from some sister company of ticketmaster.

That's a diverse lineup.
The press release also says "and many more yet to be announced!"

Maybe they can still lure Kozelek, Callahan, Xiu Xiu et al to town for inauguration festivities?

Last time they played there, it was when Fleet Foxes opened for them on the backstage. The room emptied out gradually as BT's set progressed.

Fur does have some decent songs on it, though.

Parades was a sweet album. Aren't they huge in Europe? Like huge enough to play major theaters? Sucks they're relligated to a fucking closet like DC9 here.
