A buddy of mine played me Girl Talk once. It was one of the few moments in my life where I actually wished music didn't exist. Awful, awful stuff.

I saw Girl Talk at the Detroit Techno Festival this year. Quite possibly the most overrated experience of my life. The dude is the suck.

agreed.  was hoping for a headlining show in dc area, but the $60 and DC101 affiliation make this a solid "No."

so phish did exile on main street as their halloween cover album last night . . . with sharon jones onstage singing the entire set.  interesting.  it was nice, but gov't mule also covered the stones for their halloween show (better songs) at the tower theatre.  i think i now would rather have heard thriller or purple rain or even bowie.  kudos to sirius sat. radio for playing the entire festival performance, including today's first ever phish acoustic set . . . which will, with luck, be gamehendge.
