I really want to see Camper van Beethoven but would not attend a festival to do so…

They’re doing another “camp out” at pappy & Harriet’s in September!!

That’s a festival, I guess, but you get a lot of CVB, Cracker and friends. I went to the last one, was awesome. Not sure I can make this one
If anyone is going to the Fillmore in Silver Spring after the end of this month, and is staying at the Hotel Silver Spring across the street . . . not anymore.

I was going to the Dinosaur show in July, and staying there, and just got an email that they are closing the hotel at the end of May.

Great. And the nice hotel that was beside the Fillmore is gone too. What the hell is going on in downtown SS?
Gurrrrl, I just read all recent reviews of the place for the past three weeks.

OMG. Now I see why it is closing. Dodged a, bullet.

Anyone stay at the Hilton Doubletree before, that seems close to the venue?
Turnstile just announced a free benefit show in their hometown of Baltimore, MD. The event will take place at the Wyman Park Dell on May 10, and while it will be a free show, the band hopes to raise donations for local clinic Health Care for the Homeless.
